Nebraska added a new piece to its 2024 recruiting class of Sunday afternoon.
The Huskers picked up a commitment from edge rusher Jaxon Lee, who was previously committed to Texas Tech. Lee had offers from programs such as Memphis, North Texas and Tulsa.

Lee has gone under-the-radar during the recruiting process, but Nebraska’s coaching staff will hope it’s found a diamond-in-the-rough with this commitment. Lee does not currently have a 247Sports Composite ranking.
Lee attends Lone Star High School in Frisco, Texas. He’s listed at 6-foot-2, 215 pounds. He received an offer from the Cornhuskers earlier this month.
Nebraska now has 26 commitments in the class of 2024. That includes commitments from four defensive lineman so far this cycle. Overall, Nebraska’s class is ranked No. 26 nationally per 247Sports Composite rankings.
