Nebraska is in the mix for one of the top prospects out of Texas.

Zion Kearney, a blue-chip wide receiver, recently named his top 6 teams, and Matt Rhule’s Huskers made the cut. Arkansas, Houston, LSU, Oklahoma and Texas A&M are also in the mix.

Kearney, out of Hightower in Missouri City, Texas, is listed at 6-3, 195 pounds. On the 247Sports composite rankings, Kearney is rated 4-stars, the No. 8 wide receiver, No. 10 Lone Star State recruit and No. 63 prospect overall in the 2024 recruiting class. He has scholarship offers from 33 teams.

Nebraska extended a scholarship offer to Kearney in late December.
