Illinois is rolling Nebraska after one half of play.
The Illini hold a 28-10 lead over the Huskers thanks to a solid performance from quarterback Brandon Peters and two touchdowns from running back Chase Brown.
According to the broadcast, this is the most points Illinois has scored in the first half since 2010.

Nebraska’s struggles also had a lot to do with Illinois’ success. Quarterback Luke McCaffrey threw two interceptions and lost a fumble.
McCaffrey did carry the ball 20 times for 102 yards and a touchdown in the first half, but his lack of passing ability will limit the Huskers’ chances of a comeback in the second half. McCaffrey completed just 7-of-16 passes before the break.
Nebraska has won the last four meetings in this series.
