The matchup between B1G foes Nebraska and Northwestern in Ireland is not disappointing as fans are enjoying the game and creating a beer snake with the cups.
The beer snake exists – in part – because Aviva Stadium lost Wi-Fi service early in the game and was forced to give away beer and alcohol to fans. Those fans took advantage and eventually drained the stadium of all alcohol in the third quarter.

Several videos depict fans creating a long line of beer snake cups extending up to the stadium’s second level.
Nearing the end of the third quarter, the hype of the game has been escalating as the snake, and the game gets longer. This beer snake could extend even longer throughout the fourth quarter.
This beer snake has been growing since Aviva Stadium announced the beer supply had been exhausted. The beer in Dublin between Nebraska and Northwestern has been free to fans.
Northwestern currently leads Nebraska 31-28 with over 10 minutes left in the game.
