Nebraska has added some depth at the linebacker position with the 2019 season rapidly approaching.
Former Colorado State linebacker and transfer Zach Schlager has officially joined the Huskers with less than 10 days until kickoff. He’s now officially on the team’s roster for the 2019 season and will be a walk-on.
Schlager decided to leave Colorado State last season. Sam McKewon of the Omaha World-Herald reported on the addition:
McCook ILB Zach Schlager now a part of Nebraska's football roster after transferring from Colorado State. NU's roster size by my count at 152. Full team can join Monday when classes begin.

Schlager is a native of McCook, Nebraska and was a member of Colorado State’s 2018 recruiting class. He was the No. 4 player out of his home state during the cycle.
