According to Frost, the German national and former exchange student has a “great story” and he was pleased that he had the scholarship available for him.
Nouili was a starter at Colorado State before transferring to Nebraska, and told reporters that there’s a big physical difference after three games against B1G opponents.
“They’re bigger,” he said. “Compared to my time at CSU it was like playing Arkansas every week. We had a game against Arkansas and they were the biggest linemen we’ve played. Air Force’s defensive linemen were 280 or all around that. Here, Michigan for example, their defensive linemen were like 318. They’re all a lot bigger, stronger and lot more physical.”
Nouili and the Huskers have a tough task ahead of them when they welcome No. 6 Ohio State to Lincoln for a 12:00 PM kickoff on Saturday, Nov. 6.
