There’s no question that Nebraska and Ohio State were the driving forces behind bringing B1G football back this fall. Players, coaches, parents and administrators were vocal about wanting to play at some point in 2020.

On Wednesday, the B1G reversed course, announcing it would implement an eight-game schedule which would begin the weekend of Oct. 23-24. Saturday morning, the conference revealed the full schedule for the fall.

Week 1, the two teams receiving the most credit for reinstating B1G football this fall will be squaring off. Nebraska will travel to Ohio State to open the 2020 campaign.

After learning of the matchup, the two teams shared a funny exchange on Twitter. They shared short clips from the movie Step Brothers, which caught plenty of attention on the social media platform.

Ohio State and Nebraska have played eight times on the field, with the Buckeyes owning a 7-1 advantage in the all-time series. The two teams have played every year since 2016, with the Buckeyes winning all four contests. Only one game, 2018, was kept within a single possession.
