It’s Scott Frost’s first season as the coach at Nebraska and some fans may think it has been a disaster, while others are seeing progress and are hopeful about the future.

Regardless, the Huskers have their final regular season game on Friday at Iowa. Kickoff is set for noon and Nebraska, at 4-7, won’t be able to get to six wins on the season — becoming bowl eligible.

The game, though, is important. It’s important to the program’s culture, it’s important to recruiting and it can be a jump-start to what is ahead in 2019.

Before the B1G clash on Friday, Nebraska players wanted to help out the community. The Huskers visited local hospitals, clearly making others happy before Thanksgiving:

The Huskers can both give and have fun before the holiday, and did just that on Wednesday. Football is football, but giving people a smile during this time of year is special in and of itself.
