It’s that time of year, with the back end of the college football season at hand some teams are doing well, and others are not. Expectations from the beginning of the season have started to turn into results, and the typical discussion about which coaches will be keeping their jobs and which will not, are everywhere.
The head coaching situation at Nebraska is one of those that are.
The Huskers dropped last weekend’s game with Purdue 28-23, and the response on social media was immediate – like everything else these days.
Frost is 15-26 overall since taking over at Nebraska and the Huskers have yet to beat a single ranked team under his reign. During this season, the 3-6 Huskers are with just one Power 5 win, over a hapless Northwestern at home.
But Nebraska President Ted Carter feels Frost can be the answer moving forward, and during his weekly halftime radio comments on the Husker Radio Network wasn’t afraid to say so.
Ted Carter: "We know what type of team we have and we have a great coach…"
Also notes the schedule Nebraska has played and the Huskers are playing right with the No. 5 ranked team in the country.

The Huskers trailed No. 6 Ohio State by just a 17-10 score at the half of their game on Saturday in Lincoln.
