Looking to continue adding talent to the roster, Nebraska is reportedly among more than a dozen schools to contact a former four-star recruit.

According to Chris Hummer with 247 Sports, the Cornhuskers have been in contact with Nolan Groulx since he entered the transfer portal at the end of March. Some of the other notable names to reportedly reach out to Groulx include Utah, Texas Tech, and Coastal Carolina.

Groulx was a redshirt freshman during the 2020 season for Wake Forest. He finished the year with eight catches for 58 yards but struggled to carve out a bigger role. The Demon Deacons had four players with 200+ yards receiving, including two receivers above 500 yards.

Groulx was a four-star recruit for the 2019 recruiting class out of Cornelius, North Carolina. He was rated the No. 42 WR nationally for the cycle and received offers from Wake Forest, Wisconsin, Central Michigan, and Duke, among others.

Considering some of the losses for the Huskers, including star receiver WanDale Robinson, it would certainly be nice to add talented bodies to the position group.
