It’s been a disastrous afternoon for Nebraska, but the Huskers have a chance.

Nebraska scored a touchdown on 4th and goal with 2:41 remaining to make it a one-score game. However, the Huskers missed the extra point — their second of the day — so they trail by eight.

The latest score was a touchdown pass to Oliver Martin on fourth down. The Huskers wasted time on this drive after attempting a quarterback sneak on first down because they thought it was fourth and short.

Here’s the TD throw to Martin:

Quarterback Adrian Martinez has struggled with his arm for much of the game, but has still thrown for 218 yards. He’s also made an impact with his legs, rushing for a 75-yard touchdown that kept the Huskers in the game.

Nebraska is hoping to avoid its second consecutive loss to the Illini.
