Nebraska’s spring volleyball match scheduled for late April has been canceled, according to a report from the Omaha World-Herald.

The Nebraska volleyball team was scheduled to have a spring match against Northern Colorado on Saturday, April 25 in Grand Island Nebraska. That event has been canceled, due to the public health concern of COVID-19.

This is the latest sporting event to be canceled amidst the outbreak of COVID-19. The NCAA has also canceled winter sports championships and spring sports as a measure of caution.

Fans who purchased tickets for the event will be refunded.

Nebraska’s volleyball team finished the 2019 season with a 28-5 record and a 17-3 mark in B1G play. The Huskers won three matches in the NCAA Tournament before falling to Wisconsin.
