In the do-or-die showdown with Arkansas, Nebraska has scored first on one big blast!
With both teams going quietly in the first inning, first baseman Luke Roskam led off the second with a bang. He got a 3-1 pitch in the heart of the zone, and he did not miss.
Roskam’s missile was a no-doubter and provided the first run of the game as the Huskers look to take down the top-seeded Razorbacks:

Left-hander Cade Povich is also off to a solid start on the mound. He has issued one walk but struck out three in two innings of work and will try to get deep into the ball game for Nebraska.
The Huskers were able to tack on another run in the top of the third. Back-to-back walks set the table and forced Arkansas to go to the bullpen early on.
Jaxon Hallmark drove in the second run with an RBI groundout while the inning would end with a Husker stranded on third.
