Nebraska has been threatening No. 4 Ohio State all game long in Week 9. Now, the Huskers have their first lead of the game with a 4th-quarter touchdown run from Dante Dowdell.

Dylan Raiola was crucial on that 74-yard drive, completing a pair of 3rd-and-7s to keep things rolling down the field. A crucial pickup to Thomas Fidone II also kept the Huskers in serious business while Isaiah Neyor delivered a catch that took Nebraska down inside the 1-yard line.

After that, Dowdell finished things off by going up and over with the rushing touchdown. Nebraska was previously stopped on 4th-and-goal in the 3rd quarter but now have their lead at 17-14 to try and pull this one off.

It’s Nebraska’s first 4th-quarter lead against a top-5 team since 2009, and we’ll see if the Huskers can finish this one off.

While it was the Husker offense finally breaking through, it is the Nebraska defense that has been firing on all cylinders all game long. The Huskers picked off Will Howard in the 3rd quarter to go with a trio of 3-and-out drives in a scoreless quarter for the Buckeyes.

Now, it’s up to the Nebraska defense to try and seal the deal and get the ball back to the offense.
