Nebraska has a tough couple games before its bye week.
The Cornhuskers have No. 9 Michigan coming to town this week before traveling to Minnesota Oct. 16. They’re riding plenty of momentum after blowing past Northwestern 56-7 last week.
But if you ask Nebraska tight end Austin Allen, he and his teammates aren’t living “in the past.”
Austin Allen: "We kicked the crap out of a Big Ten team, but so what, it's in the past." The #Huskers TE said Frost talked to the team today about three 2-week seasons ahead: Michigan & Minnesota. BYE. Purdue & Ohio State. BYE. Wisconsin & Iowa.

Nebraska is officially halfway through its schedule and has 2 bye weeks left to go. The Cornhuskers are 3-3, but played tough in their last couple games. They took Michigan State to overtime before eventually falling 23-20, then put on that show last week against Northwestern at Memorial Stadium.
Scott Frost’s group is getting hot at the right time. But Michigan’s going to be a tough task. The Wolverines are the top run defense in the B1G, and it won’t be easy for Nebraska to slow down Blake Corum and Hassan Haskins.
