Nebraska volleyball adds program legend, Olympic gold medalist to coaching staff

Nebraska volleyball is gearing up for the 2023 season. On Tuesday, the Huskers announced a major addition to John Cook’s coaching staff.
The addition is Jordan Larson, a name Nebraska fans certainly remember and admire. Larson played for the Huskers from 2005-08 and was a star performer for the program. She also helped lead Nebraska to the national championship in 2006.

During her time with the Huskers, Larson was named an AVCA All-America with two appearances as a First-Team All-American. In 2008, Larson was the Big 12 Player of the Year and the Defensive Player of the Year.
After leaving the Huskers, Larson has produced some star-studded accomplishments as a professional. She has won 3 Olympic medals as a member of Team USA, including a gold medal during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Larson also helped Team USA to a gold medal in the 2014 World Championship.
