Nebraska will play in the NCAA Tournament.
The Huskers did not have the 2025 for an at-large bid into the field of 64, so they did it the old-fashioned way. Nebraska is the Big Ten Tournament champion for 2025.
College baseball analyst Kendall Rogers of D1Baseball calls it a “stolen bid,” as the Huskers have bumped a bubble team from consideration.
Heck of a run by @HuskerBaseball to roll through the @B1Gbaseball tournament.

With that — another Stolen Bid. That's three.
Cal Poly has a chance to take a fourth bid tonight. https://t.co/981S89kO0x
Nebraska had quite a run in the conference tournament. The Huskers needed extra innings to defeat Michigan State 5-4. They then picked up wins over Oregon and Penn State to reach the championship game. Nebraska topped UCLA 5-0 to win the tournament title and secure the Big Ten’s auto bid.
Ty Horn delivered 8 shutout innings of 3-hit ball in the victory. He struck out 6 while walking only 3 against 30 opposing batters.

Casey Daiss relieved Horn to close it out in the 9th. Back-to-back tournament titles called for a celebration in Omaha.
