This decommitment will obviously sting for the Cornhuskers because Radley-Hiles was seen as the crown jewel of Nebraska’s 2018 recruiting class. The 4-star defensive back committed publicly the night before the spring game. He instantly became the top player in a good class but also had been a very vocal peer recruiter.
Radley-Hiles is ranked as a top 10 player out of Florida and is ranked in the top 50 nationally. He currently holds 37 total offers, including nine out of the B1G. Schools such as Oklahoma, Clemson, Alabama and Arizona are expected to be in the mix.
With Radley-Hiles decommitting, Nebraska’s class drops back down to 10 verbal commitments. Losing Radley-Hiles without a doubt hurts the Cornhuskers’ class greatly.
