Former Nebraska defensive lineman Khalil Davis was booking it at the NFL Scouting Combine.

Saturday, defensive linemen took to the field in Indianapolis to take part in drills, which included the 40-yard dash. Davis showed off some serious speed in the drill, posting the fastest time among defensive linemen, according to NFL.com.

Davis clocked a 4.75 time in the 40-yard dash, fastest at his position. That should be helpful as the former Husker attempts to improve his draft stock.

Davis had a solid final season for the Huskers, totaling 44 tackles, 11 for loss and eight sacks. In four seasons at Nebraska, Davis tallied 105 total tackles with 23.5 stops for loss.

He’s off to a solid start in Indianapolis.
