New 4-star MSU LB commit on picking Spartans: ‘They already own Michigan’

It’s only day one and Ma’a Gaoteote is already endearing himself to Michigan State fans.
The 4-star outside linebacker officially made the flip from USC to Michigan at the beginning of the Early Signing Period.
The Las Vegas native offered a bold reason for why he’s decided to play at Michigan State.
Gaoteote on why Michigan State was the place for him.

Shots fired at a rival will gain you plenty of equity with fans and if Gaoteote backs it up on the field, he’ll be even more revered.
Gaoteote is the No. 2 ranked player in Nevada and the No. 11 overall outside linebacker, according to 247Sports.
Michigan State has done a strong job recruiting, as they hold the N0. 33 class in the nation, per 247Sports.
It’ll be fun to witness the next generation of Michigan State-Michigan and see if Gaoteote’s words proves prophetic.
