New 4-star RB and Michigan commit Donovan Edwards has priceless response to question about Harbaugh’s recruiting tactics

Donovan Edwards was a major prize for Michigan on Day 1 of the Early Signing Period. The 4-star running back elected to remain in his home state over offers from other schools like Georgia, Notre Dame, and Oklahoma.
As he basked in the glow of one of the greatest moments of his life, Edwards was asked on the Big Ten Network to explain Jim Harbaugh’s pursuit of him.
Edwards gave an awesome answer.

“It’s something. It’s something. I’m very blessed that I’ve been recruited by Coach Jim Harbaugh. Also, I feel as though he’s a very ultimate competitor as well as myself,” Edwards said. “I feel as though me and Coach Jim are going to keep bonding and keep going up from here.”
Edwards is the highest ranked running back Harbaugh has landed at Michigan, according to the Detroit Free Press. Edwards is the No. 44 ranked overall prospect and the No. 4 running back in the country. In a shortened season this year, Edwards still managed to amass 882 yards and 18 touchdowns.
Michigan has hauled in an outstanding class. Michigan has the nation’s No. 10 class and second-best class in the B1G, with an average ranking of 90.3 according to 247Sports.
