Former Ohio State receiver Austin Mack is starting to carve out a role for himself in the NFL.

The rookie receiver caught four passes for a team-high 72 yards in the New York Giants’ win over Washington on Sunday.

After the game, Giants coach Joe Judge was very complimentary of the former Buckeye.

“This guy gets better every day,” Judge told reporters after the win. “He hasn’t wasted any opportunity.”

Even making it to this point in his career as an undrafted free agent is a testament to his work ethic since joining the Giants.

As a senior at Ohio State, he set career highs in receptions (27), yards (361) and touchdowns (3).

Entering Sunday game, Mack had just one catch for one yard on the season.

Mack and the Giants will face the Philadelphia Eagles next Sunday
