The New York Jets had a strong showing in the 2022 NFL Draft, including the addition of some notable Buckeyes.

With the No. 10 pick of the draft, the Jets selected Garrett Wilson as the 2nd receiver off the board after USC’s Drake London. Though drafted after London, many analysts had Wilson as the top receiving prospect in the draft.

Later in the draft, the Jets went with another Ohio State product, tabbing TE Jeremy Ruckert in the 3rd round.

Now, both players are getting set to enter their first rookie minicamp in the NFL. Heading into minicamp, the Jets announced the numbers for their draft class.

On Friday, the Jets revealed that Wilson will be wearing No. 17 and Ruckert will be wearing No. 89. Wilson wore No. 5 with the Buckeyes while Ruckert donned No. 88 in Columbus.

New York also noted some numbers are subject to change.

With Wilson and Ruckert added to an offense led by 2nd-year QB Zach Wilson, the Jets will have a young offense to keep an eye on throughout 2022.
