If Tuesday’s practice was any indication, the Badgers may have their next great receiver coming this season.
Chimere Dike made a ridiculous snag in double-coverage at practice that would likely make SportsCenter’s Top 10 if it was during a live game.

Dike will be a sophomore going into this season and he’s on pace to get a lot more playing time with plays like that. He played sparingly as a freshman as his best game during last season featured only 2 catches for 52 yards and a touchdown.
For the season overall, Dike finished with 12 catches for 189 yards, plus that lone touchdown. His longest reception went for 49 yards.
Before committing to the Badgers, he was considered a 3-star receiver from Wisconsin and the 4th ranked player in the state, per 247Sports. He was also ranked as a top 100 receiver in the nation and the 582nd overall player for the 2020 class.
We’ll have to see if Dike’s catch like this can translate to the actual season as the Badgers will open up with a matchup against Penn State on Sept. 4.
