It’s Chris Autman-Bell’s time to shine, and he’s not disappointing in Minnesota’s spring game. The receiver has made some pretty impressive snags in the first half of the scrimmage.

Autman-Bell made a pair of ridiculous catches in the second quarter of the spring game. The first was about a 35-yard grab over a defender while tiptoeing the sideline to make the reception. That, alone, was really impressive.

Later in the drive, Tanner Morgan hit Autman-Bell in the back of the end zone for an outstanding touchdown grab. That, again, came over a Gophers defender. Below are the clips of the receiver’s incredible snags:

With Rashod Bateman gone, Autman-Bell is the most-experienced receiver on the roster. He looks like he’ll be the No. 1 target in the passing attack during the 2021 season, as well.

Over the last three seasons, Autman-Bell has totaled 78 catches for 1,250 yards and 6 touchdowns. Those are solid numbers, especially as a member of an offense that included players like Bateman and Tyler Johnson.

It’s going to be interesting to see what Autman-Bell can do when he becomes the focal point of the offense.
