One NFL draft analyst has some really complimentary things to say about Ohio State center Billy Price.

Price was one of the few unanimous All-American selections from the 2017 season and has been regarded as one of the top players at his position this season. The senior also broke Ohio State’s record for most consecutive games started and has been a team captain. He was also the winner of the Rimington Trophy.

With those credentials, it’s not surprising that he’s so high on a lot of draft boards. But NFL.com’s Daniel Jeremiah had even higher praise for the Buckeyes’ center, saying he is “one of the best center prospects” he’s seen in the last 10 years.

“I recently studied Buckeyes senior Billy Price and he’s one of the best center prospects I’ve seen in the past decade,” Jeremiah wrote. “He has tremendous upper body torque, quick feet and outstanding awareness. (Pat) Elflein has enjoyed an outstanding rookie campaign with the (Minnesota) Vikings, and I think Price is a superior player on college tape. I gave Price the same grade I gave (Nick) Mangold when he entered the league, and Mangold ended up being  a first-round selection.”

Price moved from guard to center for his final season and has quickly become the best at the position. And it appears he has the potential to deliver in the NFL, as well.

Price will play in his final game with Ohio State when the Buckeyes take on USC in the Cotton Bowl on Dec. 29.
