NFL Draft expert Mike Renner of PFF listed his top 10 tight end prospects for the 2023 NFL Draft, including 3 B1G standouts.
The 3 B1G inclusions are Ohio State’s Cade Stover, Iowa’s Sam LaPorta and Minnesota’s Brevyn Spann-Ford.

The B1G has the most tight ends on this list, with the ACC and Pac-12 behind with 2 players each. This is not surprising, as talented tight ends tend to come out of the conference, including George Kittle, Mike Gesicki, TJ Hockenson and more came from B1G programs.
Iowa is the true tight end U in the B1G though. Several NFL stars went to Iowa and LaPorta seems to be next in line. He totaled 601 receiving yards this season, standing at 6-foot-4, 249 pounds.
Stover and Spann-Ford have played very well this season, too. Stover has the most TD receptions of the group, totaling 5 on the year with 399 receiving yards. Spann-Ford, meanwhile, totaled 481 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns for the Gophers this season.
