The NFL has postponed the Bills-Steelers playoff game due to forecasted inclement weather in Buffalo on Sunday.
That news was made official on Saturday afternoon. The game has been moved to 4:30 p.m. ET on Monday. It was previously scheduled for 12 p.m. ET on Sunday. The move was made by the NFL and New York Governor Kathy Hochul.
I’ve been in communication with @NFL commissioner Roger Goodell regarding the dangerous conditions in Buffalo this weekend.
In consultation with our emergency response teams, @BuffaloBills leadership, and the NFL, the Bills game will be postponed to 4:30 pm Monday.

Buffalo is expected to be dealing with brutal weather conditions this weekend. According to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service, the area is expected to be hit with 1-2 feet of snow this weekend.
Lake effect snow will develop today and last into Monday, accumulating 1-2 feet northeast of the lakes. Snow bands will oscillate, impacting different locations at different times. Near zero visibility in snow and blowing snow will make travel extremely difficult in snow bands. pic.twitter.com/WL1IRdLy6j

There are still 2 wildcard games scheduled for Sunday — Green Bay at Dallas and Los Angeles at Detroit. This move means there will now be 2 playoff games on Monday as well. Philadelphia at Tampa Bay is on the schedule for Monday evening.
It will be interesting to see how the change in schedule impacts the betting market. Prior to the change, the total was set at 33 points — no-doubt a response to the forecast — and Buffalo was a 9-point favorite, per DraftKings.
The NFL postseason will get going on Saturday with a pair of contests, including another cold affair in Kansas City between the Chiefs and Dolphins. The wind chill in Kansas City is expected to be -24 degrees at 7 p.m. CT when the Chiefs-Dolphins game kicks off.
