The Cleveland Browns have delayed their team flight to New Jersey to conduct contact tracing since a player’s test for COVID-19 came back positive.
The Browns made the announcement through their official Twitter account shortly before 2 p.m. ET:

In the statement from the team, they’re also going to be holding all of their meetings remotely today. It’s still unknown if the Browns will travel later today or perhaps Sunday morning before their game against the New York Jets.
Going into this game, Cleveland is at 10-4 and still has an outside shot at winning the AFC North. If they were to win and the Pittsburgh Steelers were to lose to the Indianapolis Colts, that would set up an AFC North Championship game the following Sunday.
The Browns would also clinch a playoff berth with this win (if the game doesn’t get postponed). We’ll have to wait for further updates but the game is still set for a 1 p.m. kickoff on Sunday as of now.
