San Francisco 49ers defensive end Joey Bosa, a former Ohio State standout, has been named the NFC Defensive Player of the month for November, the league announced Thursday.

And that’s for good reason. Bosa burst into the backfield with ease last month, totaling 19 pressures, 3 sacks and 6 tackles.

This is nothing new for Bosa, who has been dominant since entering the league in 2019. He was drafted 2nd overall by the 49ers in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Bosa’s numbers across his career are straight from a video game. He’s totaled 138 tackles, 36 sacks, 50 tackles for loss, 6 forced fumbles, 88 QB hurries and an interception.

He has 33 tackles and 11.5 sacks already this season with 5 weeks to play in the regular season.
