Nick Bosa busted out of the gate to start the NFL Playoffs with the San Francisco 49ers. Unfortunately, he might not get back into action for the second half.

Early in the first quarter, Bosa made his presence felt on a long third-down play by the Dallas Cowboys. He busted through and registered a clean sack of Dak Prescott to force a punt.

Unfortunately, Bosa was injured toward the end of the first half and did not return to the field to begin the third quarter. He was inadvertently hit by a teammate while going to the ground on one pass rush after drawing a holding penalty on the offense.

According to sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson, Bosa is being evaluated for a head injury.

*UPDATE* With 10 minutes left in the third quarter, the CBS broadcast officially downgraded Bosa’s status to OUT for the remainder of the game.
