Nick Marsh, ranked the No. 19 wide receiver in the country by 247Sports in the 2024 class, committed to Mel Tucker and Michigan State on July 7. The River Rouge (Mich.) standout will remain in-state and play collegiately in East Lansing.

Before that is Marsh’s final high school season, which kicked off Friday against Metro Detroit foe Belleville. And Marsh showed his special team skill by taking a kickoff 95 yards to the house against the Tigers. Take a look at the video below:

Despite the return, River Rouge ended up losing 35-28 as the Tigers scored a touchdown in the waning seconds of the game. The Panthers, who had a 5-4 mark in 2022, will face Catholic Central on Sept. 1.

It’s fair to think that Marsh’s highlight from Friday won’t be the last one we’ll see from him this season. Before long, he’ll have a chance to add to his highlight reel, only this time on Saturdays at Spartan Stadium and throughout the B1G.
