Nick Saban’s CFP argument ‘is against Ohio State,’ per Dan Mullen

Nick Saban went on a campaign Saturday night. Though it was not a political one, Saban’s College Football Playoff campaign was equally divisive on social media with fans ripping the head coach for his comments.
While many expect the Crimson Tide to be left out of the final four, the committee could shock everyone on Sunday. TCU and USC lost over Championship Weekend, opening the door for Ohio State and Alabama to make their cases.
According to ESPN analyst Dan Mullen, Saban’s argument and campaign that he made on national television was not a case against TCU. Instead, Mullen says Saban’s argument is more directed at the Buckeyes:
“Nick’s argument, to me, has not been against TCU. When you listen to his argument, his argument is how you finish, we didn’t get blown out in our losses,” said Mullen. “His argument is against Ohio State.
“I think he looks and says ‘Okay, TCU’s in, they played in their conference championship game. They were undefeated. My argument is against Ohio State, and the other argument is against Tennessee who beat them head-to-head and right behind them.'”
