James Franklin was able to bring another four-star prospect to Happy Valley.

During Thursday night’s Under Armour All-America Game, four-star defensive end Jayson Oweh committed to Penn State, bringing the Nittany Lions’ 2018 recruiting total to 23 pledges.

While Oweh made the announcement on Thursday evening, he actually quietly signed his National Letter of Intent on during the early signing period in December, according to 247Sports.

Oweh is ranked as the fifth-best strong-side defensive end and is ranked as the No. 3 player out of New Jersey. Overall, he ranks No. 103 in the 2018 recruiting class.

Penn State currently owns the second-best recruiting class in the B1G, behind only Ohio State. The class also ranks fourth nationally.
