An upset may be brewing in college basketball for Sunday and it involves No. 25 Michigan, who surprisingly is down against Oakland at halftime.

Oakland is up 33-31 over the Wolverines as Michigan struggles to score in the first half. They shot just 46.2% from the field overall and only 36.4% from three.

The best player for Oakland in the first half was Trey Towsend who had eight points, a rebound, and an assist. Jalen Moore and Daniel Oladapo also contributed six points each for Oakland in that half.

For Michigan, three players had six points in the first half and they were: Austin Davis, Isaiah Livers, and Eli Brooks. They’ll need a lot more from them if Michigan is to come back in the second half.

If Oakland were to win this game, it would be their first win of the season and quite a big one, too. Michigan would get to 2-0 if the Wolverines are able to pull off the comeback.
