No B1G teams in Kirk Herbstreit’s top-4 this week

Week 4 has come and gone, which means ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit released his top-4 on Sunday. And B1G fans may have some beef with him this week.
Herbstreit’s top-4 consisted of Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma and now the TCU Horned Frogs.

With TCU now in the fold, that meant Penn State dropped out of Herbstreit’s rankings after winning an instant classic Saturday night against the Iowa Hawkeyes, 21-19.
It will certainly be interesting to see how the top-4 continues to evolve as the season progresses.
