Northwestern football one of 7 schools on an unfortunate list

It’s not secret that Northwestern football has been down for sometime, sitting at the bottom of the Big Ten in recent years.
Northwestern now finds itself 1 of 7 schools that made this unfortunate list.

The Wildcats are also the only Power 5 school that made it on the list.
Credit where credit is due, these FCS schools played solid games against FBS teams, but it feels like Northwestern can’t catch a break.
The Wildcats started their season strong with a win over Nebraska – which also seems to be in shambles these days – but has since lost 2 in a row, including the loss to FCS school Southern Illinois on Saturday.
Northwestern will look to get back on track following the loss with a contest with Miami Ohio this Saturday.
