A 6-foot-5, 275 pound offensive lineman will be playing for Pat Fitzgerald and the Wildcats of Northwestern starting in the fall of 2023.
Dylan Senda announced his commitment from his Twitter account on Monday afternoon. Senda is from Divine Child High School in Dearborn, Michigan. The 247Sports Composite has him listed as a 3-star recruit.
Here’s what he had to say about his commitment to Northwestern:
“Since I was young, I knew I was meant to play the game of football,” said Senda. “I had always dreamed of playing college football at the D-1 level and especially in the Big Ten conference. With blessings from God, the love and support of my parents, a lot of hard work from both on and off the field, and surrounding myself with great coaches and trainers throughout the years, I am blessed to announce my dream has become a reality.
“Today, I am blessed to announce my commitment to Northwestern University and honored to be their first commit in their 2023 recruiting class. I am so excited to attend this school and be a part of this elite Big Ten football program. I am also very blessed to be able to help welcome future class of 2023 commits to the NUFB family! So excited to be a Wildcat!”

Senda is ranked as the 396th-best player in the class of 2023. He is also the 25th-best at his position, and the 10th-best recruit from Michigan in the 2023 class.
He chose Northwestern after having offers from a number of B1G schools like Michigan State, Michigan, Penn State, and Iowa. Senda will be the 1st player to commit to Northwestern for its class of 2023.
