Every player matters when it comes to the B1G Championship Game. And Northwestern could have kicker Charlie Kuhbander back on the field.

Teddy Greenstein of the Chicago Tribune reported that Kuhbander, who has missed five games this season due to injury, has been cleared to participate. He has made 3-of-7 kicks this season and is 21-of-21 on extra point tries.

Kuhbander has not attempted a kick since Nov. 3.

Due to injuries this season, the Wildcats have used three total kickers this fall. Drew Luckenbaugh and Jake Collins have also attempted field goals.

Northwestern hasn’t attempted many kicks this season, settling for just 14 field goals. The Wildcats have made eight on the year.
