Northwestern launches ‘Together we Win’ campaign ahead of Minnesota contest

Northwestern Athletics is launching a “Together We Win” campaign for all of its athletic programs.

Last week, Northwestern and Michigan played in a historic rivalry game as they played in the first trophy game named after an African American player the George Jewett Trophy, he played for both schools.

The Northwestern football program will be wearing “Together We Win” warmup t-shirts as they welcome Minnesota to Evanston, IL.

Northwestern is having a down season after winning the B1G West a season ago. The Wildcats are 3-4 on the season and 1-3 in the B1G.

The Wildcats have wins over FCS Indiana State, Ohio, and Rutgers. Their losses are against No. 8 Michigan State, Duke, Nebraska, and No. 6 Michigan.

Minnesota is in 1st place in the B1G West after rattling off 3 straight wins. The Gophers are 5-2 and 3-1 in B1G play on the season.

They have wins over Miami (OH), Colorado, Purdue, Nebraska and Maryland. Their 2 losses are against No. 5 Ohio State and Bowling Green.

Northwestern hosts Minnesota this weekend at 3:30 ET on BTN.
