Northwestern names team captains for 2018

With just a week remaining until the start of the B1G football season, Northwestern has named its team captains for the 2018 campaign.
On Monday, four players were selected to be the leaders by their teammates. The announcement was made through a video that was posted on Twitter.

The four captains for the Wildcats are:
- Clayton Thorson, QB
- Montre Hartage, CB
- Paddy Fisher, LB
- Tommy Doles, OL
Northwestern opens up the 2018 season on Thursday, Aug. 30 with a trip to West Lafayette against B1G West opponent Purdue.
The Wildcats enter the season having won the final eight games of the 2017 season.
