Isaiah Bowser is officially on the national radar.
On Saturday, Northwestern’s freshman running back had a huge day on the ground, rushing for 165 yards and a touchdown against Iowa in a 14-10 win. His performance helped clinch the B1G West for the Wildcats over the weekend.
Because of his big outing, Bowser earned Rose Bowl Game Player of the Week honors. The announcement came on Monday afternoon.

Bowser has served as the lead rusher for the Wildcats in each of the last four outings. He’s eclipsed the 100-yard mark three times and has also reached the end zone in three of those four games.
For the season, the freshman 485 yards and four touchdowns on 114 carries. Bowser is currently the leading rusher for Northwestern.
In addition to the big day on the ground against the Hawkeyes, Bowser was also a serviceable pass-catcher out of the backfield, hauling in three passes for 33 yards.
