Isaiah Bowser is hitting the open market, the Northwestern running back available as a graduate transfer.
The transfer of Bowser comes as he’s seen a diminished workload this season. In Saturday’s Big Ten Championship Game against Ohio State, a 22-10 loss for Northwestern, Bowser had just one carry for one yard.

In the season’s first two games, Bowser had 48 carries for 155 rushing yards and one touchdown. In the next five games, including the conference championship loss to Ohio State, he had a total of 30 carries for 75 yards with no rushing touchdowns.
In 2018 as a freshman, Bowser had 866 rushing yards on 197 carries in 11 games. It was the third-highest rushing season for any true freshman in program history.
