Northwestern releases list of inactive players for Michigan State game

Northwestern has released their list of inactive players ahead of tilt with Michigan State tonight.

Some of the most notable players that will be inactive tonight are WR J.J. Jefferson, RB Cam Porter, WR Berkeley Holman.

In 4 years with the Wildcats, Jefferson had 22 receptions for 336 yards on 15.3 yards per reception and 4 touchdowns.

RB Cam Porter will miss the entire 2021 season with a lower-body injury which is a massive blow for the Wildcats.

Last season Porter had 81 rushes for 331 yards and 5 touchdowns on 4.1 yards per carry. He was the projected starter before the injury.

Holman for the Wildcats in three years had 18 receptions  on 210 yards with 11.7 yards per reception.

The Wildcats last season were 7-2 and won the B1G West division. The Wildcats play two AP Top-25 opponents this season.

The Wildcats lost to the Spartans last season 29-20 in East Lansing, MI.
