Northwestern will need its best performances towards the end of the season to make a bowl game. They’ll need to look their best too.

The team unveiled its uniforms for the matchup with Wisconsin on Saturday. The Wildcats are going with the white jerseys and pants, with purple helmets for their showdown in Camp Randall.

The pictures were put on Twitter Thursday afternoon by the team’s football account.

The Badgers have the edge in this series with a 60-37 win/loss record all-time. However, Northwestern got the better of Wisconsin last season, winning in Evanston 17-7. Wisconsin has won three out of the last five meetings.

This series is old, dating back to 1890. Back then, Wisconsin football played in Milwaukee.

We’ll see how both teams decide to line up. Especially on the Wisconsin side, with key running back Chez Mellusi out the season with a leg injury he suffered in Week 10.

Northwestern will be without wide receiver J.J. Jefferson. Jefferson hasn’t played since the Rutgers game in Week 7 due to an undisclosed injury.

No. 18 Wisconsin (6-3) and Northwestern (3-6) gear up for the 97th meeting in series history Saturday at 12 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
