Northwestern has revealed who will start on Saturday against Purdue.
Ben Bryant will be the starter for the Wildcats, according to a report from Pete Thamel. Bryant made his return for Northwestern last week against Wisconsin after missing over a month of action due to an injury suffered in the game against Penn State.
Bryant, a Cincinnati transfer in his 6th season of college football, has recorded 1,121 yards and 8 touchdowns this season in his limited time on the field.
Northwestern has been relying on Brendan Sullivan at the quarterback spot, and he has managed well enough, leading Northwestern to a 2-2 record in his 4 games started.
Northwestern is looking for a win on Saturday to reach bowl eligibility. The Wildcats got a solid win over Wisconsin last week and are looking to top Purdue this week. The Boilermakers have struggled this season, but snapped a 4-game losing skid with a win over Minnesota last week.
