Odafe Oweh is making his presence felt in his regular-season debut, and it did not take long for him to register a sack.
Formerly going by Jayson during his time at Penn State, Oweh is now with the Baltimore Ravens after being selected in the first round of this year’s NFL Draft. The Ravens are starting the year on the road in a contest against the Las Vegas Raiders.
With the first half running down, the Raiders had a chance to potentially score a touchdown with just under 10 seconds remaining. Quarterback Derek Carr was rolling out to try and find an open receiver, but Oweh kept up with him on a second effort.
He brought Carr down behind the line of scrimmage for the sack and to force a field goal attempt heading into the half:
So much for those stats…

Oweh definitely looks like he’ll be a handful for QBs to deal with moving forward.
