With Indiana moving on from Archie Miller, the school must now begin the process of looking for its next head basketball coach. CBS SportsLine recently released odds of who IU might hire next.

Miller’s firing was announced on Monday. He was the head coach at Indiana for four seasons, failing to make the NCAA Tournament in any year. The Hoosiers concluded the 2020-21 campaign with a 12-15 record.

Plenty of names have already surfaced as strong candidates for the vacancy. And with Indiana being a traditional blueblood college basketball program, there should be plenty of appeal in the position.

Here’s a look at the odds SportsLine has on IU’s next basketball coach:

  • John Beilein +300
  • Scott Drew +350
  • Chris Beard +500
  • Steve Alford +700
  • Dana Altman +900
  • Thad Matta +1200
  • Dane Fife +1400
  • Eric Musselman +1500
  • Nate Oats +2000
  • Mark Pope +2500
  • Rick Pitino +3000
  • Mark Few +4000
  • Brad Stevens +5000
