Odell Beckham Jr. was reportedly removed from an American Airlines flight at the Miami International Airport Sunday morning.
The report from the Miami-Dad Police said that Beckham was unresponsive when flight attendants tried to wake him up to put his seat belt on, and he appeared to be coming in and out of consciousness.
Before the plane departed, the crew feared Beckham’s condition would worsen over the course of the 5-hour flight and the attendants called for police and fire rescue. The crew asked Beckham to exit the plane, but he continually refused.
After the plane was deplaned, he was asked by officers to exit the plane. He then made other travel arrangements.
Beckham currently is not signed with an NFL team. He tore his ACL in the 2022 Super Bowl when he was playing with the Rams, but has yet to sign with another team.
