Alabama freshman cornerback Ga’Quincy McKinstry may have just inked the best NIL deal yet.

McKinstry signed a deal with Kool-Aid on Wednesday morning which is perfect for him because his nickname on the team is exactly that.

On Alabama’s roster, he isn’t referred to as “Ga’Quincy McKinstry” as everyone calls him Kool-Aid McKinstry. He even changed his Twitter bio and it now reads, “In honor of our new partnership, we’ve swapped names with Kool-Aid McKinstry and given him the power of OH YEAH.”

As a player, McKinstry was one of Alabama’s top recruits in the 2021 recruiting class. Per 247Sports, his composite ranking labels him as a 5-star and the top overall cornerback in the country, as well as Alabama. He was also ranked as the 18th best recruit regardless of position in the 2021 class.

If McKinstry makes a splash play this season, there has to be an “OH YEAH” type of celebration coming right after. It makes too much sense.
